Global Green Energy Innovation Technology Collabration (2018)
Three-Year Global Green Energy Innovation Technology Collabration Program
The Asian Photovoltaic Industry Association (APVIA) and New Energy Industry Association for Asia and the Pacific (NEIAAP) and Shanghai New Energy Industry Association (SNEIA) have jointly launched the “Global Green Energy Innovation Technology Collaboration” program. The aim is to promote the application and industrialization of high-tech achievements among research institutions and universities, domestic enterprises, and overseas counterparts. Serving as a bridge we aim to speed up the process of converting technological achievements into productive capabilities and to promote the bi-directional exchange of technology and information.
The forms of “Global Green Energy Innovation Technology Collaboration” include: cutting-edge technology seminars, project match-making and highlighting significant achievements, etc. The key priority focus will be on: Solar PV, Wind energy, Biomass, Hydrogen, Energy Storage, Smart grid, Energy Internet, New energy vehicles, etc.
As organizer, we are cordially inviting you to participate in the “Global Green Energy Innovation Technology Collaboration” program in 2018.
This event will be held in Renewable Energy India 2018 during 18 - 20 September, 2018 in New Delhi, India, focusing on discussing Solar, Storage, Electrical Vehicle Production& Markets.
APVIA seminar at Renewable Energy India in New Delhi was a success!
Solar & Storage Production & Markets in Asia: Supporting the Global Response to Climate Change
APVIA staged a 4-hour event at Renewable Energy India on 19th September 2018 which turned out to be a huge success.
The programme moderated by Dr. Murray Cameron. APVIA Chief Operating Officer consisted of highly distinguished speakers including:
Mr. Pranav R. Metha, Founder Chairman, National Solar Energy Federation of India and Chairman-elect of the Global Solar Council (GSC)
Mr. Michael Schmela, Executive Advisor, Solar Power Europe
Mr. Robin Sharma, Regional Manager, Shanghai Liangxin Electrical Co., Ltd. (Nader)
Ms. Yan Fang, CTO, Crown Advanced Material Co., Ltd.
Mr. Rahul Kshetrapal, National Head – Business Development, Sterling and Wilson, India
Mr. Shravan Chunduri, Head of Technology, TaiyangNews
Mr. Hidayathulla M, Senior Manager & Business Development Head India, TÜV Rheinland
This was followed by a panel discussion which while will very focused on the Indian renewable energy market also included questions to allow Ms. Fang to participate extensively.
She raised the issue of the impact that India’s anti-dumping policy on PV products produced in China have on the growth of the Indian market now that the costs of PV modules manufactured in China are by far the most competitive globally. An extensive debate followed this question.

About
India is endowed with a very vast solar energy potential with most parts of the country have about 300 sunny days and an average solar radiation incident over the land in the range of 4-7 kWh per day. International Energy Agency (IEA) estimates show that India’s solar potential is greater than 750 GW and its announced wind potential is 302 GW (actual could be higher than 1000 GW). India Energy Security Scenarios 2047 show a possibility of achieving a high of 479 GW of solar PV by 2047.
